GoGallivanting Customer FAQs
Can I take my dog with me on a camping trip? Yes — if the owner allows pets. Each listing clearly states whether dogs are permitted. Some owners may charge a small additional cleaning fee or limit the number/size of dogs, but this will be built into the owners price plan, nothing will be added on in hidden fees. Always confirm approval before travelling with a pet.
Can I make a booking on behalf of a friend or family member? The main driver must usually: Create their own GoGallivanting account, meet the licence and insurance requirements, and be present at handover. For insurance and security reasons, bookings generally can’t be made for someone else unless agreed in advance.
Do you have wheelchair accessible motorhomes? Accessibility varies by vehicle. Some motorhomes may offer easier access or adapted layouts, but fully wheelchair-accessible vehicles are limited. Always contact the owner before booking to confirm suitability for your needs.
Can I go and look at a motorhome before I confirm a booking? In some cases, yes — but it depends on the owner. Pre-booking viewings must be arranged directly with the owner and are subject to availability.
What are the steps to make a booking request? Create a GoGallivanting account, choose your dates and vehicle, submit a booking request, provide driver details, await owner approval, and confirm and pay securely online. You’ll be guided through each step clearly before any payment is taken.
How do I edit my profile? Log into your account, go to your profile section and update your details. Keeping your contact and licence information accurate helps avoid delays.
What information is required to create a GoGallivanting account? Typically: Full name, email address, phone number, address, and driving licence details (for drivers). Additional verification may be required for insurance approval.
Why would I connect my account to Facebook or Google? Connecting allows faster sign-in, secure verification, and reduces the need to remember additional passwords. It’s optional.
How can I change the dates of an accepted booking? Contact the owner as soon as possible. If the new dates are available, the booking can be amended. Any price difference will be shown before you confirm changes. Owners might have back-to-back bookings, so changes of dates might not always be possible. The best way to be sure is contact the owner as soon as possible.
I do not have the correct driving licence for the vehicle I have hired, now what? You cannot legally drive the vehicle. Contact the owner immediately. If your licence does not meet the vehicle’s weight or insurance requirements, the booking may need to be cancelled according to the cancellation policy.
Why is my booking request showing as 'declined'? Common reasons include: Dates no longer available, driver not meeting insurance criteria, or incomplete information. You can contact the owner for clarification.
Where can I find an overview of my booking? Log into your GoGallivanting account and go to your bookings section. All trip details, documents and messages are stored there.
How can I extend my booking? Message the owner before your return date. If the vehicle is available, an extension can be arranged and payment adjusted accordingly. Some owners will have back-to-back bookings so an extension may not be possible.
How do I change or add the details of the driver? Contact the owner before the trip begins. All drivers must meet licence requirements, be approved under the insurance policy, and provide necessary documentation. Unapproved drivers are not insured.
How can I make changes to a booking request? If your booking request hasn’t been accepted yet, you can: Log into your GoGallivanting account, go to your “Bookings” section, select the booking request you want to change, edit details such as dates, number of travellers, or optional extras, and resubmit the request to the owner for approval. Remember, changes can only be applied before the owner accepts the request. Once the booking is accepted, you’ll need to follow the process for editing a confirmed booking instead.
What do the different booking stages mean? Requested – awaiting owner response; Accepted – approved, awaiting payment (if applicable); Confirmed – booking secured; Cancelled / Declined – booking not proceeding. Your account dashboard shows current status clearly.
How can I make changes to a confirmed booking? Once your booking is confirmed, changes are possible but depend on the owner’s approval. To make a change: Contact the owner as soon as possible — the earlier you reach out, the more likely the change can be accommodated. Explain what you want to change — dates, number of travellers, optional extras, or pick-up/drop-off times. Agree on any adjustments — the owner will confirm if the change is possible and let you know about any price differences or fees. Update the booking in your GoGallivanting account — don’t assume a verbal agreement is enough; the change must be reflected in the system to be official. Changes may not always be possible, especially if the motorhome is booked by other renters immediately before or after your dates. Clear, early communication is key.
What insurances apply to my booking? All rentals include comprehensive vehicle insurance, subject to: Age limits, licence requirements, and driving history checks. An insurance excess applies in case of damage. Some owners will have their own policy, whereas some use a GoGallivanting policy - please speak to your owner about what this includes.
Does GoGallivanting provide their own insurance for renters? Insurance is typically arranged through the vehicle owner’s specialist motorhome hire policy. GoGallivanting facilitates the booking but does not usually underwrite the insurance itself. Owners can use the GoGallivanting policy which the price is built into the booking - nothing extra or hidden is added on.
Am I allowed to see the insurance documents before I rent a motorhome from GoGallivanting? Yes. You can request insurance details before your trip to understand what is covered and any exclusions. The owner that you are hiring from will be able to provide this information in the portal chat.
What does the GoGallivanting insurance policy cover? Typically: Accidental damage, full comprehensive liability, and theft (subject to policy terms). It does not usually cover: Personal belongings, misuse (e.g. wrong fuel), or unapproved drivers. Always review policy specifics before travel. The official policy can be requested prior to booking in the chat function on the portal.
Do the Motorhome owners have their own insurance policy, or do I need to buy my own? The vehicle is normally covered by a specialist hire insurance policy arranged by the owner. If not, they will use the GoGallivanting policy. You do not need to buy separate vehicle insurance — but personal travel insurance is recommended.
What do I need to consider when travelling abroad? You must confirm overseas cover is permitted, carry required documentation, comply with local road laws, and arrange European breakdown cover if needed. Advance approval is essential. Always communicate where you plan to travel in the motorhome with your owner.
Can I take any of the motorhomes abroad? Not all vehicles are insured for overseas travel. Check the listing and confirm with the owner before booking.
Where can I find all the documents and information for my booking? Everything is stored in your GoGallivanting account under your booking — including trip details and messages.
What do I have to take into account when driving a motorhome? Increased height and length, wider turning circle, height restrictions and low bridges, and longer braking distances. Drive calmly and plan ahead — motorhomes handle like large vans.
What happens if I'm late when returning the motorhome? Contact the owner immediately. Late returns may result in additional charges, particularly if the vehicle is booked by another renter. Owners will deduct money from the security deposit if appropriate. Owners will often have back-to-back bookings, so a late return could cause issues. Always contact the owner as soon as possible if there are expected delays.
What if the Owner is not home when returning the motorhome? Follow the agreed return procedure discussed at handover. Never leave the vehicle without written agreement from the owner.
Who pays if there is a breakdown during my trip? Mechanical breakdowns are typically covered by the breakdown policy. Costs resulting from misuse (e.g. wrong fuel) are usually the renter’s responsibility and can be taken out of your security deposit, if appropriate.
How can traffic fines be resolved? You are responsible for any fines, tolls or penalties incurred during your hire period. If fines are sent to the owner after your trip, your details may be passed to the issuing authority.
Why is my booking request showing as 'cancelled'? This could occur if: You cancelled it, the owner cancelled, or payment was not completed within the required time. Your account will show the reason. If you are unsure, please contact the owner in the messaging option on the portal.
I had a great holiday! How do I tell others? After your trip, you’ll be invited to leave a review. Reviews help future renters feel confident and recognise great owners. Sharing your experience makes a real difference. We hope you had a great trip with GoGallivanting and we hope to see you again.
Do I need a special licence to drive a motorhome? In most cases, no. If you hold a standard UK Category B driving licence (the same one you use for a car), you can drive motorhomes up to 3,500kg (3.5 tonnes) — which covers the majority of rental vehicles in the UK. Some larger luxury motorhomes exceed 3,500kg and require a Category C1 licence. The vehicle’s weight will always be clearly listed on the advert, and the owner will confirm licence requirements before your booking is approved. If you passed your test before 1 January 1997, you may already have C1 entitlement — check the back of your licence to be sure. Please check with the vehicle owner at booking what category of Motorhome/Campervan you are hiring.
Are motorhomes automatic or manual? Most motorhomes in the UK are manual (stick shift), as they’re typically built on van chassis like Fiat Ducato or Ford Transit. That said, automatic models are available, especially in newer or higher-spec vehicles. You can filter listings by transmission type so you only see vehicles you’re comfortable driving.
How many people can sleep in a motorhome? It depends on the layout. Motorhomes and campervans typically sleep anywhere from 2 to 6 people. Larger family motorhomes may sleep more, but berth numbers always match the number of legal seatbelts fitted for travel. Common sleeping setups include: Fixed rear double beds, drop-down beds, convertible dinette beds, and over-cab beds (in larger motorhomes). Each listing clearly states how many people can travel and how many can sleep. You can also filter this in the search function with all of our owners.
Is a motorhome suitable for children / babies / dogs? Yes — many families travel very comfortably in motorhomes. Children & babies: As long as the vehicle has appropriate seatbelts, you can usually fit child seats (confirm compatibility with the owner). Many motorhomes are designed specifically for family travel. Dogs: Some owners allow pets, others don’t. Each listing clearly states whether pets are permitted. There may be an additional cleaning fee. If you’re travelling with little ones or pets, it’s always worth messaging the owner before booking to make sure the layout suits your needs. Please message on the portal to make sure all communication is clear.
What’s the difference between a campervan and a motorhome? The main difference is size and layout. Campervans are smaller and more compact, easier to drive and park, often sleep 2–4 people, and are ideal for couples or shorter trips. Motorhomes are larger and more spacious, have separate living, sleeping and bathroom areas, usually include a full kitchen and bathroom, and are better suited to families or longer holidays. Both give you the freedom to travel at your own pace — it simply depends how much space and comfort you want.
Is motorhome hire good value compared to hotels? For many travellers — especially families — yes. With a motorhome, your accommodation and transport are combined. You also have your own kitchen, which can significantly reduce food costs. For couples, it offers flexibility and unique locations you simply can’t get with hotels. For families, it can often work out more economical than booking multiple hotel rooms — particularly during school holidays. The real value, though, is freedom. You can change plans, explore hidden spots, and wake up somewhere new whenever you choose.
Can I tour the UK easily in a motorhome? Absolutely. The UK is very motorhome-friendly, with thousands of campsites and holiday parks, dedicated motorhome stopovers, well-maintained road networks, and clear signage. Motorhomes drive much like large vans, and most are no wider than standard vehicles. Height and weight limits are clearly signposted where relevant. With a bit of planning — especially around campsite bookings in peak season — touring the UK by motorhome is straightforward, flexible and one of the best ways to explore the countryside and coastline.
What’s included in the rental price? The rental price covers the use of the motorhome or campervan for your chosen dates. Most rentals also include: Comprehensive insurance, breakdown cover, basic kitchen equipment, and a standard vehicle handover and demonstration. What’s included can vary slightly between owners, so always check the individual listing. Anything included — or optional — will be clearly shown before you book. There are no hidden or add on fees, everything is covered in the price you see at booking. At GoGallivanting we pride ourselves on no hidden fees.
Are there any hidden fees? At GoGallivanting there are no hidden fees. The full price is shown before you confirm your booking. This includes: The rental cost, any applicable service fees, and any clearly listed optional extras you select. Some charges only apply if relevant — for example: Additional mileage (if you exceed the included allowance, set by the owner), late return, or damage beyond fair wear and tear. Everything is transparent so you know exactly what you’re paying for. The charges listed here will be taken off of your security deposit, but only after the owner and yourself have had a discussion at the handover. If you have any issues, please speak direct to the owner before contacting GoGallivanting.
Do I pay extra for mileage? Some rentals include a daily mileage allowance. Some have an unlimited allowance, it all depends on the owner and will be clearly shown in their listing. If there is an allowance, this might be, for example, 100–150 miles per day. If you stay within that allowance, there’s nothing extra to pay. If you plan a longer road trip, you can choose a vehicle with unlimited mileage, purchase additional mileage in advance, or pay a per-mile rate if you exceed the allowance. The mileage policy is clearly shown on each listing, so you can choose what suits your trip. If you are unsure, please speak to the owner directly about any questions or concerns you might have.
Is insurance included? Yes — comprehensive insurance is normally included in the rental price, provided you meet the eligibility criteria. This typically covers: Drivers within a specified age range, a clean or acceptable driving history, and UK licence holders (and sometimes international licence holders, depending on the policy). There will also be an insurance excess, which is the amount you are responsible for if damage occurs. This is usually covered by a refundable security deposit. Always review the insurance details on the listing so you understand exactly what’s covered before booking. Some owners will have their own insurance policy, some will use the GoGallivanting insurance policy which is priced at £30 a night. All insurance costs are included in the rental price.
What’s the fuel policy? Motorhomes are supplied with fuel, and you return them with the same level. Most owners operate a full-to-full policy: You collect the vehicle with a full tank and you return it full. If it’s returned with less fuel than agreed, the cost of refuelling may be deducted from your deposit. Fuel type (usually diesel) will be clearly stated. Please check with the owner on handover.
Do I pay for cleaning? A standard clean between bookings is normally included. However, you’re expected to return the motorhome in a reasonably tidy condition, including: Washing up, emptying waste tanks (toilet and grey water), and removing rubbish. If the vehicle is returned excessively dirty or waste tanks aren’t emptied, an additional cleaning fee may apply. Clear return instructions are provided at handover so you know exactly what’s expected.
Are there extra charges for bedding, kitchen kits or bikes? It depends on the owner. Many motorhomes include basic kitchen equipment as standard. Bedding, towels, outdoor furniture, bike racks or child seats may be included, available as optional paid extras, or not provided. All optional extras — and their costs — are clearly listed on the vehicle page, so you can customise your booking before checkout. If you’re unsure what’s included, you can always message the owner before confirming your trip. There will be nothing added on after your booking is accepted, so once the price is set, that includes everything.
What happens if the motorhome breaks down? Don’t worry — support is in place. All rentals include breakdown cover, so if the vehicle develops a mechanical fault, you contact the roadside assistance provider straight away. They’ll either fix the issue at the roadside or recover the vehicle to a local garage if needed. You should also inform the owner as soon as possible so they can help coordinate next steps. Breakdowns caused by mechanical failure are handled under the breakdown policy. Issues caused by misuse (for example, using the wrong fuel) would not usually be covered. Full breakdown details and emergency contact numbers are provided at handover.
Am I covered if I have an accident? Yes — comprehensive insurance is included with all rentals, provided you meet the eligibility criteria. If you’re involved in an accident: Make sure everyone is safe, contact the emergency services if required, and inform the owner and follow the insurance reporting process. You will usually be responsible for the insurance excess, which is covered by your security deposit. If the damage exceeds the excess, the insurer covers the remaining cost (subject to policy terms). The key is to report incidents promptly and follow the claims procedure exactly as explained at handover.
What if I'm delayed returning it? If you think you’re going to be late, contact the owner immediately. Motorhomes are often back-to-back bookings, so late returns can affect the next renter. Unauthorised late returns may result in: An additional daily hire charge, extra insurance costs, or possible penalty fees. If delays are caused by breakdown or an accident, roadside assistance and the owner will guide you on what to do. Clear communication is essential — letting the owner know early usually prevents small delays becoming bigger problems.
Is roadside assistance included? In most cases, yes. Please check with the owner prior to handover. Roadside assistance is typically included as part of the rental, covering mechanical breakdowns during your trip. This usually includes: Roadside repair, recovery to a garage if needed, and help with issues like flat batteries or tyre problems. It does not usually cover non-mechanical issues such as running out of fuel or using the wrong fuel. Emergency contact numbers and policy details are provided before or during handover so you’re never left unsure who to call.
Is there parking for my car? It depends on the owner. Some owners offer secure off-road parking for your car while you’re away. Others may not have space available. Parking arrangements (if offered) will usually be mentioned in the listing. If it’s important to you, it’s best to confirm directly with the owner before your trip.
How long does handover take? Allow around 45–90 minutes. Handover includes: Checking your driving licence and documents, completing the condition report, explaining how everything works, and answering your questions. For first-time renters, it’s worth taking your time. A thorough handover helps you feel confident before you set off. You will be able to contact the owner throughout your trip on the messaging in the portal in case of any issues.
Do I get a walkthrough of how everything works? Yes. You’ll be shown how to use: The heating and hot water, the hob and fridge, the toilet and waste system, the electrics and control panel, and the water system. You’ll also be given contact details in case you forget something during your trip. During the handover it is best to ask any questions that you might have before leaving for your adventure!
What condition do I return the motorhome in? You’re expected to return it in a clean and tidy condition, including: Washing up and removing rubbish, emptying the toilet cassette, emptying the grey water (waste water) tank, and refilling fuel to the agreed level. It doesn’t need to be professionally cleaned unless agreed — but it should be returned as you’d expect to receive it. Excessive cleaning may result in an additional charge, which will be taken from your security deposit.
How do toilets and showers work? Motorhome toilets use a sealed removable cassette system. After use, waste collects in a secure tank which must be emptied at a designated disposal point. Showers work like normal showers but use the onboard fresh water tank and hot water system. Because water storage is limited, showers are usually shorter than at home. Everything is explained clearly at handover.
Where do you empty waste tanks? Waste is emptied at: Campsite service points, motorhome service areas, or some dedicated stopover locations. You must never empty waste anywhere other than approved facilities. Campsites make this very straightforward. Please do not dump waste in un-regulated areas as you can receive on the spot fines.
Can I wild camp in the UK? Rules vary depending on location. England & Wales: Wild camping in motorhomes is generally not permitted without landowner permission. Scotland: Laws are more relaxed, but motorised vehicles must still follow local parking rules and restrictions. Many areas provide official motorhome stopovers or campsites, which are the safest and most reliable option. Always check local guidance before staying overnight outside a campsite. Social Media and search engines provide good options of where to stay if you are looking for places "off-grid" but you need to make sure that they are legal areas.
Do motorhomes have heating and hot water? Yes. Most motorhomes have: Gas or diesel-powered heating and onboard hot water systems. They’re designed for year-round use and can be very comfortable even in colder weather. The owner will show you how to work everything on handover.
Do Motorhomes have WIFI? Not always. Some owners provide onboard Wi-Fi, but many rely on mobile signal and personal data. Availability will be stated in the listing. If Wi-Fi is essential for your trip, check before booking.
Do Motorhomes have USB Charging? Many modern motorhomes do have USB sockets, particularly in newer models. Older vehicles may rely on standard 12V sockets or plug sockets when connected to mains electricity. It’s wise to bring charging cables and, if needed, a 12V adapter. To be certain of your needs, please contact the owner during the booking process.
How long does the leisure battery last? The leisure battery powers lights, water pumps and USB sockets when you’re not plugged into mains electricity. Typically, it will last 1–2 days off-grid depending on usage. Heavy use of heating, lighting and charging devices will drain it faster. Staying on a campsite with electric hook-up keeps everything topped up. Please speak to the owner if you are unsure of how the leisure battery works, they will be able to answer all of your questions.
Can I use gas appliances easily? Yes — they’re designed to be simple and safe. Gas is commonly used for: The hob, heating, and hot water. You’ll be shown how to turn gas on and off safely. Always follow the instructions provided at handover.
Is it warm enough in winter / cool in summer? Motorhomes are well insulated and fitted with heating systems, so they can be very cosy in winter. In summer: Opening windows and roof vents provides ventilation, blinds and flyscreens help manage heat, and some high-spec models may have air conditioning. Comfort depends on the vehicle specification and how it’s used, but motorhomes are built for seasonal touring across the UK.
Can I take the motorhome anywhere in the UK? In general, yes — you’re free to tour across the UK. However, you must: Follow road restrictions (height, width and weight limits), obey parking regulations, and avoid roads unsuitable for larger vehicles. Some owners may place reasonable restrictions (for example, no festivals or off-road use). Always check the listing for any specific conditions before travelling.
Can I travel to Scotland / Wales / coastal roads? Yes — touring Scotland, Wales and the UK coastline is very popular in a motorhome. Just be aware that: Some rural or coastal roads can be narrow, height barriers and weight limits may apply in certain areas, and ferry crossings (if applicable) must usually be declared in advance. With sensible planning, these routes are very accessible and often ideal for motorhome travel. It is always wise to make sure your choice of Satellite Navigation is aware that you are driving a motorhome and make sure you know the height and width of the vehicle you have hired.
Can I take it abroad? This depends on the owner and their insurance policy. Some motorhomes are insured for European travel (often with prior approval), while others are UK-only. If European travel is permitted, you may need: Advance agreement, additional insurance documentation, and breakdown cover for overseas travel. Always confirm before booking if you plan to leave the UK. It's always important for the owner to know where you are roughly going also, they may have good hints and tips for you!
Can I tow a trailer or bring bikes? Towing is not automatically permitted. If you want to tow a trailer, you must: Confirm the vehicle is fitted with a tow bar, ensure the insurance covers towing, and check your driving licence allows it. For bikes: Many motorhomes have rear bike racks, others may have storage space inside, and some owners may charge a small fee for rack use. All towing or rack use must be agreed in advance, but the price will be agreed before booking, nothing will be added on after as we do not have hidden fees at GoGallivanting.
Is there an extra charge for dogs? Sometimes, but this will be built into the owners price plan. Some owners allow dogs free of charge, while others apply: A small additional cleaning fee or a limit on the number or size of dogs. Pet policies are clearly stated on each listing. Always confirm approval before travelling with a pet. The owner will build in their requirements into the price that you pay - there will not be any hidden costs or fees.
Do motorhomes have ISOFIX / child seats? Not all motorhomes have ISOFIX points. Many have standard seatbelts suitable for compatible child seats, but layout and seat direction can vary. If you’re travelling with a baby or young child: Check how many travel seatbelts are fitted, confirm compatibility with your child seat, and ask the owner before booking. Safety always comes first. Your owner will know their motorhome as well as anyone, they will be the best person to ask!
Can we bring our own bedding? Yes — and many renters prefer to. Some owners provide bedding as an optional extra, while others include it. Bringing your own bedding is absolutely fine unless stated otherwise. Just ensure it fits the bed layout (some beds are fixed doubles, others convert from seating areas). Owners will be more than happy to answer your questions about their listing on the portal chat.
Can I bring a BBQ / paddleboards / surfboards? Usually, yes — within reason. There is often storage space for outdoor equipment, but you should: Check available storage capacity, avoid overloading the vehicle, and ensure items are securely stored while driving. BBQs must be used safely and away from the vehicle. Disposable BBQs should never be used inside the motorhome. If you’re planning to bring larger items, it’s always best to check with the owner beforehand. Owners will be happy to discuss meeting your needs in the portal chat.
How is GoGallivanting different from Camplify / other platforms? GoGallivanting is built around fairer, more transparent terms and tools that help both renters and owners get the most out of each trip. Key differences include: Lower commission for owners so better value can be passed on in prices, GoPilot smart assistant that helps recommend trips and answer questions, and Hit Boost optional feature for owners to promote availability. Listings and pricing are clear and straightforward, with all fees shown upfront. In short: we focus on clarity, fairness and support throughout the booking experience. We are customer orientated and would love to help in any way - please approach us via the website or social media.
Who holds my money and when is it released? When you book, your payment is processed securely through our payment provider (Stripe). Funds are held in a trust-like arrangement and not released to the owner until after your trip starts and the handover has been completed. This protects you and the owner by ensuring: The vehicle is delivered as described, any pre-trip requirements are met, and issues at handover can be resolved before funds are released. You’ll always see the payment and release schedule clearly before you confirm your booking.
Can I change my dates after booking? Usually, yes — but it depends on the owner’s cancellation and modification policy. If you need to change dates: Contact the owner as soon as possible; they can confirm whether the new dates are available. Any price difference or policy adjustment will be shown before you accept the change. Because motorhomes are often booked back-to-back, date changes can’t always be guaranteed — but early communication gives you the best chance of accommodating them.
Is travel insurance recommended? Yes. While motorhome rentals normally include basic insurance for the vehicle, travel insurance is recommended to cover things the rental insurance does not, such as: Personal belongings, trip cancellation or interruption, medical expenses, and emergency accommodation if needed. Travel insurance adds peace of mind and covers the unexpected parts of a trip that vehicle insurance doesn’t.
What if my ferry / event is cancelled? Plans can change — and that’s okay. If a ferry, event or external booking you’ve made is cancelled: Contact the owner immediately and explain the situation and share any supporting details. The owner may offer alternative dates or a refund according to their policy. Because ferry and event bookings are separate from your motorhome rental, any refunds for those should be managed directly with the provider. We recommend choosing travel insurance that includes trip cancellation protection, which can reimburse you for non-refundable costs if plans change through no fault of your own.
What’s the best motorhome size for a family of four? For a family of four, the ideal motorhome balances space, comfort and drivability. A good fit is typically a 4–6 berth motorhome with: Two fixed beds (or a fixed double plus convertible beds) so everyone sleeps comfortably, four travelling seatbelts, a separate living/dining area that converts easily into sleeping space at night, and adequate storage for luggage and outdoor gear. Common choices include: Alcove or coachbuilt models – offer a fixed double bed and either drop-down or convertible beds, plus a proper lounge area; or larger campervans or low-profile motorhomes – can work if they have a suitable layout, but space is tighter. Smaller vans designed mainly for couples may feel cramped for four people over multiple nights, especially on longer trips. If you’re unsure which layout suits you best, you can always message the owner before booking — they can help you choose the most comfortable option for your family’s style of travel.
