Hello, I'm Jono S.

My name is Jono Sanford and I am the owner of On the Road Rentals LTD. We started trading at the start of 2026 and have partnered with Motorhomes Repaired who professionally maintain our current and future vans​,​ so you can rest assured that our fleet will not let you down. I have spent many years travelling. I started in SE Asia for a few months and then spent a year in New Zealand. After that I spent three years in Australia where I returned to NZ on a couple of occasions. Most of this time was spent in campervans and motorhomes. Now I'm older and have a family​,​ these big adventures are no longer a possibility​,​ but I still believe there is so much to be seen on our doorstep and I want to bring the possibility for adventure to like minded people. Our goal is to have a fleet of reliable and well maintained​,​ albeit a little older​,​ campervans and motorhomes that we can provide at an affordable rate for anyone from seasoned van-lifers to absolute newbies who want to try the adventure for themselves.
